Before golf legends are made, their accomplishments of victory leads them forward to such forthcoming. Like everyone else, they all start off unexperienced and untrained until their progression and talent surpasses those around them. Introducing Thailand’s very own golf legend Boonchu Ruangkit, one of many few who’ve made such feat and now in the second consecutive year of the Boonchu Ruangkit Championship.
As 2016 comes to an end, all eyes are set on the final event of the Asian Development Tour and Singha All Thailand Tour schedule for the Boonchu Ruangkit Championship held at Rancho Charnvee Resort & Country Club. Finnish star Janne Kaske aims high to finish the last tournament of the year in style!
Janne Kaske teed off the first round in the superstar group alongside with Thailand’s number one Thongchai Jaidee and last year’s winner Phachara Khongwatmai where he finished with a tied 27 with a 2 under-par 69.
“I had the great pleasure to play with the Thai legend Thongchai Jaidee, who gave one of the most impressive displays of professional golf that I’ve witnessed firsthand,” said Janne.
Janne continued his progression up the leaderboard with a final round 68 to finish at 10 under par, tied for 13th.
“I was happy with my own game, even though I failed to post a really low score on the second round when I had the chance to do it. Game has been improving in the last couple of weeks and this tournament gave me a lot of positive feedback,” says Janne about his overall performance after the tournament.
As the tournament draws to a dramatic end, Danthai Boonma seals the win with a final score of 6 under-par 65 making it his first ADT title at the Boonchu Ruangkit Championship on Sunday.
With an outstanding year so far, Janne has already been looking forward for next year’s challenges that awaits him – aiming for his goal to secure a top 60 ranking on Asian Tour.
